Water Requirements: Regular watering, especially during dry spells or hot weather. Provide deep, thorough watering to keep the soil moist but not waterlogged.

Common Pests and Diseases:

California Black Walnut is generally resistant to pests and diseases. However, it can be susceptible to walnut husk fly, walnut aphids, and anthracnose. To prevent these problems, maintain good tree health by avoiding damage to the tree’s roots and trunk, and promptly treat any signs of pest or disease infestations.

Additional Care Tips:

Mulch around the base of the tree to conserve moisture and suppress weeds.
